Would you like to look 10 pounds lighter on camera? Everyone wants to look good in photos, and it’s never more important then on your wedding day. After all, your wedding photos are the photos that you and your family will look at again and again for years to come. Every bride wants gorgeous wedding photos, but even more importantly she wants to look her best and she wants to look slender. We’ve put together a few tips to help you look 10 pounds lighter on camera, so you’ll look incredible!
When the arms are pressed up against the body, the flesh spreads, making your arms appear larger than they really are. When you’re holding your wedding bouquet, remember to let your shoulders relax and fall away from the ears. Keep a gentle bend at the elbow, and lift the elbows ever so slightly away from the body. This will create a natural gap between the arms and the rest of your body. If you are taking shots without your bouquet, you can place a hand on your hip. Another option is to drape it on your partner’s shoulder or wrap it around his/her waist.
The body always looks more slender when you’re standing at an angle to the camera rather than facing straight forward. This angle naturally makes your waist and shoulders appear slimmer, and is more flattering overall.
Remember to bend the knee closest to the camera. This will shift your weight onto the back foot, and into the hip that is furthest away from the camera. This is the best tip at all, you will be amazed at what a difference this small adjustment can make! It’s an instant slenderizer–better than Spanx!
We know how important it is for you to love your wedding photos and to feel good about the way that you look. Put these tips to use so you’ll look 10 pounds light on camera. We promise you’ll love your wedding photos!
