Winnie and Michael’s Peacock Gap Golf Club wedding in San Rafael, CA was poignant, joyful, and entertaining. The two met while they were living in the same town home community; Michael remembers admiring Winnie from afar. He eventually found a way to talk to her, which lead to them texting each other daily. They soon realized they didn’t want to live without one another.
Their Peacock Gap wedding was a celebration of the blending of two families; Michael’s mother walked him partway down the aisle, and his children walked him to the altar. Winnie’s father walked her halfway down the aisle, before handing her over to her two children.
During their wedding reception, the couple showcased their talents. They began with their first dance, (accompanied by a friend on saxophone), next Michael sang and performed for Winnie. As an encore, the couple launched into a rousing dance performance to the hit song “You ‘re The One That I Want” from Grease. They had so much fun performing for their guests that moments later the dance floor was packed.
During the golden hour of the evening, the couple shared the first bites of (gluten-free, sugar-free) carrot cake. Guests had the choice of sampling not one but two different cakes!
Winnie and Michael, you are so joyful and sweet together- great partners, both on and off the dance floor. Wishing you and your beautiful family unending happiness through the years!
