Yasminne + Brian’s Napa engagement session

Yasminne + Brian’s Napa engagement session during the final days of summer; it was a perfect day in paradise, blue skies, gentle warmth, and a golden glow. Castello di Amorosa is one of my favorite Napa Valley wineries, home to a 13th-Century Medieval castle and some amazing wines.

When Yasminne admitted to being a bit of a Disney fan, I suggested a couple of Napa Valley wineries that have castles on their property. Yasminne loved the idea; Napa Valley engagement photos with a castle in the background was a dream come true for her. When Brian asked if we could find a way to incorporate his refurbished vintage mustang, I said of course! He’s done an amazing job restoring it, and I think you’ll agree but it certainly added a creative element to their engagement photos. It has quite a powerful engine, too–I heard them approaching long before they pulled up for their session!

I always find several different types of backgrounds for all of my engagement sessions so couples receive a gallery with plenty of variety and looks. The location for Yasminne + Brian’s Napa engagement shoot offered so much: castle views, the grand staircase, a redwood grove, and the vineyards themselves. Taking engagement photos among the vines gives those shots a classic, timeless look.

Yasminne + Brian were first introduced to one another by their parents, and as Yasminne confessed, it was not love at first sight. However, over time things changed dramatically… and Brian proposed when they were on vacation in Puerto Vallarta. Today the two are living their fairytale ending!
