We got lucky with a beautiful, sunny San Francisco winter day for Logan and Jason’s Legion of Honor engagement session. The classic architectural details were a great background for this lovely couple. Logan and Jason are both tall and statuesque, so the setting was perfect. We had a great time shooting! Something about the trees definitely brought out their playful side.
If you’ve ever tried online dating then you know it can be hit or miss. But this isn’t always true. Every so often you hear of the occasional miraculous exception. But can you imagine having a first date that was so awesome that you went on the second date the very next day? That’s exactly what happened with Logan and Jason.
She admits that she felt a little uncertain about him before they met in person. “He was cute, but hipster,” she says. Within one week, though, they both knew it was right and didn’t want to see anyone else. One year later they moved in together and soon after they got engaged.
These two are self-professed homebodies; they love to hang out at home and cook dinner together. They also love to travel, go camping, and explore nature with their dog.
Logan admits that they had never been to the Legion of Honor before their engagement photo session. “We’re not really museum people,” she says. “But this place is amazing.” Whenever I shoot here I always feel like I could be somewhere in Old World Europe. It’s a San Francisco engagement photographer’s dream. Like being transported to Europe–at a fraction of the cost–with no jet lag!
Logan and Jason, wishing you guys happiness together always!
